Role
We're seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will involve extracting data from various sources, identifying trends, and ensuring data accuracy. You'll be instrumental in optimizing our processes and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional results for a leading financial institution. Candidates will spend 60% of their time understanding the business requirements

Required Qualifications
- Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
- 5+ years of full-time hands-on Data Analyst experience.
- 4+ years of full-time hands-on SQL experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with a focus on writing optimized queries for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Technical Background: A solid foundation in data analysis, with a willingness to learn financial concepts on the job in the domain of Fixed income, Mortgage (Preferably ex Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac).
- Data Analysis: Ability to pull data, identify patterns, and compare expected vs. actual results.
- Process Improvement: Experience in setting up efficient and scalable processes for repetitive tasks.
Nice to haves
- Nice to have the knowledge of AWS tools like Athena, Redshift, and Glue Tables is essential for managing and optimizing data queries within our cloud environment. Good to have Python automation knowledge.
- Good to Have basic knowledge of Confluence, Jira, and MS Office 360.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
