We're looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the infrastructure team. You'll help build and maintain the infrastructure that powers Tubular Labs' data platform, working on a mix of modern cloud-native systems and contributing to the evolution of our stack.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure on AWS
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD)
• Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Improve observability systems (Grafana, monitoring pipelines)
• Contribute to internal tooling and automation
• Support data infrastructure including Kafka, Snowflake, Hive Metastore, and PostgreSQL/MySQL databases
• Help migrate workloads from legacy systems (Mesos, Salt) to modern alternatives
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation

Required Qualifications

• Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
• 5+ years of full-time hands-on Infrastructure/Platform/SRE experience.
• 4+ years of full-time hands-on Terraform (modules, state management) experience.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on Kubernetes (deployment, troubleshooting) experience.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on AWS (IAM, networking, RDS, EC2) experience.
• 2+ years of full-time hands-on Python experience.
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, security groups).
• GitOps practices (ArgoCD or similar)

Nice to haves

• Experience with Bazel build systems.
• Familiarity with Salt or similar configuration management.
• Knowledge of data infrastructure: Kafka, Snowflake, Hive Metastore.
• Experience with Elasticsearch operations.
• Familiarity with Consul for service discovery.
• Experience with Sensu or similar monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
