The role: We're seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will involve extracting data from various sources, identifying trends, and ensuring data accuracy. You'll be instrumental in optimizing our processes and collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional results for a leading financial institution. Location:

• Local candidates in the DMV area (Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland) are required to work on-site 3 days a week.
• Relocation or fully remote work is considered for the right candidate. Length: 2+ years, long term Client: Leading Fintech specialized in mortgaging solution Type: Contract, c2h, or full-time options are open. Open to W2 full-time with benefits or C2C Visa: H1b, L1 accepted, c2c ok. Visa Sponsorship is considered.

Required Qualifications

• Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
• 5+ years of full-time hands-on Business System Analyst experience.
• 4+ years of full-time hands-on SQL experience.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with a focus on writing optimized queries for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS tools like Athena, Redshift, and - GlueTables is essential for managing and optimizing data queries within our cloud environment.
• Data Analysis: Ability to pull data, identify patterns, and compare expected vs. actual results.
• Process Improvement: Experience in setting up efficient and scalable processes for repetitive tasks.
• Technical Background: A solid foundation in data analysis, with a willingness to learn financial concepts on the job.

Nice to haves

• Good to Have basic knowledge of Confluence, Jira and MS office 360.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
