Engagement Details

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and technically curious Application Support Engineer to join our team. This role is critical to understanding and closing the gaps created by the recent re-platforming to Shopify. This is a role ideal for someone with solid technical skills that enjoys solving problems, learning new systems, and supporting systems and applications that are both customer and business user facing.

What You'll Do

• Investigate and troubleshoot application issues reported by customers or internal business users.
• Write and run SQL queries (PostgreSQL) to identify, diagnose, and resolve data-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain integrations with third-party systems such as Shopify.
• Collaborate with developers and cross functional teams to solve critical issues and improve system stability.
• Document solutions, recurring issues, and internal tools.

Lenght: 3+ months engagement.

Required Qualifications

• Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on Software Developement experience.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on SQL (PostgreSQL) experience.
• 2+ years of full-time hands-on Javascript experience.
• 2+ years of full-time hands-on Python experience.
• Understanding of how APIs and webhooks work in system integrations.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to dive deep.

Nice to haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
