Engagement Details

Our client is a leading software solutions provider in the online advertising market; their advertisement platform streamlines the ad sales processes for some of the most prominent publishers on the Web.

They are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join their distributed team.

Our client is looking for help with updating the current application deployment pipelines for new infrastructure and a review of the current pipeline library to validate what they have is extensible going forward.

Tech stack:

Key responsibilities:

  • Migrate UAT environments from one set of virtual machines to another, which requires modifying existing deployment pipelines and PowerShell scripts.
  • Include reviewing and improving deployment pipelines that were originally built by engineers with limited Azure experience
  • Creating robust and maintainable infrastructure automation
  • Potentially completing the work faster than the two-month estimate if the contractor possesses senior-level expertise.

  • Length: 2+ months engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
  • 5+ years of full-time hands-on DevOps experience.
  • 4+ years of full-time hands-on Azure experience.
  • Expertise in YAML for deployments, PowerShell for environment creation, IIS infrastructure setup, and Azure DevOps platform management.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated ability.
