Our client is an VC-funded early-stage US-based startup with an ambitious vision to revolutionize the Real Estate space with a solution allowing homeowners to sell their homes by themselves.

Our client is on a mission to eliminate the $100B homeowners lose each year to real estate commissions. We're building the first AI-powered home-selling platform that empowers homeowners to sell without real estate agents, replacing outdated systems and middlemen with smarter, more transparent tools. With strong early traction and backing from top investors, we’re creating a radically better home-selling experience, and we’re looking for a founding full stack engineer to help architect, scale, and shape the future of the company.

The Role

We’re looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a category-defining product from the ground up. You’ll work directly with the CEO and founding team to design and deliver a high-trust, AI-first experience across web and cloud infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone who’s deeply hands-on but also thinks strategically about architecture, scalability, and speed.

What You’ll Do

• Own architecture and implementation across the stack—from frontend to backend to infrastructure
• Build fast, responsive, and intuitive UIs using React, Next.js, Tailwind, and Bootstrap
• Develop robust backend services with Node.js and Express
• Design and scale cloud infrastructure using AWS (CDK, CloudFront, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Bedrock, S3, EC2, Fargate)
• Partner closely with product, design, and legal to launch secure and scalable features
• Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation as we grow.

Required Qualifications

• Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
• 5+ years of full-time hands-on Software Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on React.js experience.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on Node.js experience.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on Next.js experience.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on Tailwind experience.
• 3+ years of full-time hands-on AWS experience.
• Deep experience building and scaling systems on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of React, Node.js, and modern web frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to ship polished, production-grade features end-to-end.
• Passion for clean architecture, performance, and maintainability.
• Comfortable wearing many hats—from infrastructure to UI polish.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive ownership, and a desire to move quickly.
