Client Engagement Details

Our client is a modern ecommerce company operating at scale on Shopify Plus. We're looking for a hands-on Support Engineer who can go beyond ticket handling and is comfortable building automations, troubleshooting integrations, and supporting ecommerce operations. You'll support and maintain Shopify Plus operations, work independently on well-defined tasks, and collaborate with US-based stakeholders to ensure continuity and operational excellence. The ideal candidate ramps up quickly and is comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and accelerate delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• Support and maintain Shopify Plus operations.
• Troubleshoot application issues and support requests.
• Build and maintain automation workflows.
• Support integrations between ecommerce and internal systems.
• Work with SQL and data-related tasks as needed.
• Quickly ramp up to cover existing responsibilities and ensure continuity.

Availability: Full-time, short-term contract with potential for extension.

Required Qualifications

• Upper-intermediate to fluent speaking and writing English. Able to have a real-time conversation.
• 3+ years of experience in a support, ecommerce, or platform engineering role.
• 2+ years of strong Shopify Plus experience, particularly with the GraphQL Admin API and Liquid.
• 2+ years of solid SQL experience, including work with PostgreSQL.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Comfort collaborating with US-based stakeholders and using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to accelerate delivery.

Nice to haves

• Experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n.
• Exposure to integrations and platforms such as Klaviyo, Celigo, Sentry, and Supabase.
• Experience working in cloud environments.
